Daniel also supports non-Indigenous organizations in developing respectful, accountable relationships with local Indigenous communities, aligned with reconciliation commitments and shared value outcomes.

Bonita Young-Mercer, Finance Manager
Bonita brings over 24 years of comprehensive experience in Office Management, Human Resources, and Financial Management.
Her professional background includes leadership roles such as:
- Office Manager, Terrace Nisga’a Urban Local
- Director of Operations, CFNR Radio Station
- Finance Manager, Wilp Wilxo’oskwhl Nisga’a Institute
- Accountant, Skeena Sawmills
- Various contract positions in Business Management and Finance

Curtis Young-Mercer, Business Development
Curtis is a proud member of the Nisga’a and Gitxsan Nations and holds a degree in Business Administration from Vancouver Island University, with dual concentrations in Management and Marketing.
With over 10 years of experience in business consulting, Curtis has successfully contributed to a variety of projects, including Economic Development, Strategic Planning, Program Development and Facilitation, and collaboration with First Nation Communities and Governments across British Columbia and Canada.
Most recently, Curtis completed a Registered Massage Therapist program in Vancouver, BC, and is currently practicing Massage Therapy in the Pacific Northwest. He continues to maintain an active role in Tseax Ventures, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to both his professional and entrepreneurial pursuits.

Arthur Mercer, Founder
Arthur brings over 25 years of experience in Business Development and Leadership, with a strong focus on economic development, Indigenous governance, fiscal and financial planning, and Indigenous entrepreneurship. He has a proven track record in human resource management, business development, and project management, delivering measurable results for clients and partners.
His professional expertise includes extensive experience in resource development and infrastructure projects, as well as:
- Supporting local businesses in qualifying for and participating in large-scale project procurement processes
- Advancing Indigenous business development, including assisting Nations in accessing international markets and establishing effective Indigenous legal structures for business operations
- Leading and executing complex joint ventures and partnerships, bringing together business development groups within communities and Indigenous organizations to achieve shared strategic objectives
